Pakistan's future tour program 2018-2023
Pakistan cricket team had a successful 2017 under the leadership of Sarfraz Ahmed and they also had a good start to their limited overs format in 2018 against New Zealand. The green shirts also had a significant success on their tour to Ireland and United Kingdom (UK) where they won 4 out of their 5 matches.
Now all eyes are on the upcoming schedule of team Pakistan & ICC has formally announced the future tour program for all the teams till 2023. As far as the upcoming tours of Pakistan are concerned, men in green will be playing in the Tri-series against Australia and Zimbabwe in the first week of July where they will play four t20is against both the opponents teams. Pakistan will also play an ODI series of 5 matches against the hosts Zimbabwe next month.
The next big tournament for the green shirts will be the Asia Cup 2018 which will take place in the UAE for the first time in September later this year. In October, Pakistan will host Australia for 2 Tests and 3 T20is and New Zealand will also visit either UAE or Pakistan for 3 Tests and 3 T20is in November 2018.
December will bring a lot of hardships for the young Pakistan side as they will take on the Proteas for a full-fledged series of 3 Tests, 5 Odis and 3 T20Is. In March 2019, Pakistan will play 5 Odis against Australia once again in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). May 2019 will bring 5 Odis and 1 T20I for Pakistan against England and after that, the men in green will participate in the ICC World Cup 2019 in England.
In August 2019, Pakistan will play a series of 2 Test matches against the Islanders. And the end of October 2019, Pakistan will play a series of 2 Tests and 3 T20is against Australia. Pakistan will take on Sri Lanka in December in a series of 3 Odis and 3 T20is.
In the new year of 2020, Pakistan will play a series of 2 Tests and 3 T20Is vs Bangladesh and in June & July Pakistan will play against the Netherlands in a series of 3 Odis followed by 3 Test matches vs England in the same span of time. Men in green will also play 2 T20Is against Ireland and 3 T20is vs England in August 2020 followed by Asia cup 2020 in September.
In October, Pakistan will play 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is vs South Africa followed by ICC World Twenty20 2020 in October-November. In November 2020, Pakistan will take on Zimbabwe once again in a series of 3 Odis and 3 T20is followed by 2 Tests and 3 T20Is against New Zealand in December 2020.
In the year 2021, Pakistan will start their campaign against the Kiwis in a series of 2 Tests and 3 T20Is in January 2021. In February, Pakistan will 2 Tests vs and 3 T20is against South Africa. In April 2021, Pakistan will take on Zimbabwe in a series of 2 Tests and 3 T20Is.
In July 2021, Pakistan will once against travel to England to play 3 Odis and 3 T20Is. Although the green shirts will also play 3 Tests and 3 T20is against West Indies in July-August. In September 2021, Afghanistan will also play 3 Odis against the green shirts and in October Pakistan will play 3 Odis and 3 T20Is against the Kiwis once again.
ICC World Twenty20 in the year 2021 will start in October and November. After the World Twenty20 2021, Pakistan will take on Bangladesh in 2 Tests and 3 T20Is in November and in December Pakistan will play against West Indies in 3 Odis and T20is.
In the year 2022, Pakistan will start their campaign against Australia with 2 Tests, 3 Odis and 3 T20Is in February-March. In July August Pakistan will take on Sri Lanka in 2 Tests and 3 Odis followed by Asia Cup 2022 in September.
In October-November Pakistan will play 5 Odis against England with 2 Tests and 3 Odis against New Zealand. In December 2022, Pakistan will also play 3 Tests vs England. And at the end, ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 will start in February-March.
